Kian Tanner is a registered patent agent with a background in aerospace engineering and applied mathematics. His practice focuses on all aspects of patent prosecution, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of mechanical systems, consumer devices, electronics, software, and telecommunications.
Prior to joining Adibi IP Group, Kian gained hands-on technical experience in aerospace engineering, electronics, and software development. As part of his senior design project at the University of Colorado, Boulder, he led the electronics team in developing a CubeSat payload in collaboration with Digital Globe and NOAA. The project incorporated an onboard neural network for autonomous image processing and was recognized with a first-place award at the AIAA Region V Student Conference. Additionally, Kian has worked on machine learning applications, including developing neural networks for predictive analytics.
His technical expertise extends to software development, circuit design, PCB design, and ANSYS modeling, with proficiency in MATLAB, C++, and Python.
